Claude is getting higher usage limits and more computing power

Anthropic signed a deal with SpaceX for full access to the Colossus 1 data center in Memphis.

The agreement adds more than 220,000 Nvidia GPUs and 300 MW of compute capacity for Anthropic.

The new capacity will immediately raise Claude Code and Claude API limits, including doubled five-hour limits for some plans.

Anthropic is also expanding through broader cloud and infrastructure partnerships to compete more aggressively in AI infrastructure.
