Gemini for Google Home gets better at understanding you

Google announced March updates to Gemini for Home that bring more reliable voice command handling, improved contextual understanding, and faster response times.

Google is rolling out the third batch of Gemini for Home improvements as part of Google Home v4.12.

Availability is expanding to more markets and more people in the Early Access program; after the US and Canada, Gemini for Home is expanding to Mexico.

Google added Spanish language support for Google Home users in the US and Canada, and is expanding access to kids with supervised Google accounts within Google One family.

New features include Expressive Lighting, which accepts phrases like 'color of the ocean' or 'glow of the moon'; Precision Appliance Controls for more granular settings (for example, 'Preheat the smart oven to 350°.'); and Advanced Climate Management with support for holding temperature presets.
