Property management fees cut in bulk in Qingdao, Chongqing and other cities; some communities in Guangzhou’s Zengcheng return to the “2-yuan” range - 36Kr

Multiple cities in China are cutting residential property fees after tighter scrutiny of overcharging.

In Guangzhou’s Zengcheng district, 11 communities have lowered fees and 8 projects dropped above-top-tier pricing since June.

Some fees fell from above 3 yuan per square meter per month to 2.8 yuan, easing residents’ burden.

Similar adjustments are also taking place in Qingdao, Chongqing, and Tianjin.
