New "ChatGPT Voice" Comes to Desktop, Voice Features Closer to a Real Conversation

OpenAI has expanded the upgraded ChatGPT Voice feature to the desktop app on macOS and Windows.

The new voice mode, powered by GPT-Live, can control the computer and coordinate multiple agents in ChatGPT Work and Codex.

The rollout is available to paid and enterprise users, with remote access from iOS supported and Android coming soon.

The update pushes ChatGPT beyond chat into a voice-driven desktop assistant for automating work across OpenAI products.
