Netflix ordered to pay back millions of subscribers in landmark ruling

An Italian court ruled Netflix's 2017–2024 price hikes unlawful because contracts lacked justified reasons.

The court ordered refunds up to €500 for long-term Premium users and €250 for Standard users.

Netflix must notify affected customers within 90 days or face a €700 daily fine and it is appealing the decision.
