Apple Teases iOS 27 AI Upgrades With Major Accessibility Overhaul To iPhone

Apple unveiled new accessibility features for iPhone and iPad, previewing broader Apple Intelligence upgrades coming in iOS 27.

The updates add AI-powered VoiceOver image descriptions, natural-language Voice Control, and on-device subtitles for uncaptured video.

Apple also improved Magnifier and Accessibility Reader, aiming to better support blind, low-vision, deaf, and hard-of-hearing users.
