MacBook Ultra OLED Touch Panel to Be Exclusively Supplied by Samsung

Apple is reportedly set to use Samsung Display exclusively for OLED touch panels in its next MacBook Pro redesign.

The first 14-inch and 16-inch panels are expected from Samsung’s 8.6-gen OLED line in Asan, with mass production targeted for August.

Apple reportedly passed on LG Display and BOE over yield, efficiency, and capacity concerns.

The redesigned MacBook Pro could arrive in early 2027 with M5 Pro/M5 Max chips, a thinner body, Dynamic Island changes, and touch support.
