Huawei Reports Connecting 170 Million People in Remote Areas, Exceeding ITU P2C Pledge

Huawei announced it has connected 170 million people in remote areas, exceeding its ITU P2C pledge of 120 million by 2025.

The announcement was made by Yang Chaobin at Huawei's TECH Cares Forum in Barcelona with about 80 guests in attendance.

Huawei cited initiatives like Huawei RuralCow and Skills on Wheels as contributors to expanded rural connectivity and digital skills training.
