Nintendo Announces Completely Bonkers New Game That Turns Your Photos Into Minigames

Nintendo unveiled Pictonico!, a free-to-install mobile game for iOS and Android that launches May 28.

The game uses players’ photos to generate about 80 surreal minigames, along with stage, score attack, and fortune-telling modes.

After a small demo selection, additional game volumes will be sold separately, making it a hybrid mobile model.

The unusual photo-to-minigame concept suggests Nintendo is still experimenting with its mobile strategy.
