Red Hat’s skill packs give AI agents something a bigger model never could: 20 years of institutional memory

Red Hat unveiled an AI skills repository and skill packs for enterprise agents.

The skills let agents use Red Hat data, policies, and tools to reason, plan, and carry out tasks on RHEL and OpenShift.

Red Hat says the goal is to give AI Red Hat-specific institutional memory and guardrails, not just generic chat answers.

The approach is meant to keep automation aligned with subscription, security, support, and lifecycle rules.
