Gemini gives Google Home cameras smarter automation powers

Google Home is adding Gemini-powered automation that lets compatible cameras detect real-world events and trigger actions.

Users can also create automations with natural-language prompts in the Google Home app.

Gemini is getting better at multi-step commands, casual phrasing, and faster responses for lights, alarms, and timers.

The camera-based feature is currently limited to English-speaking US users in Public Preview with Google Home Premium Advanced.
