Eve Online studio CCP Games is rebranding following its split from Crimson Desert’s Pearl Abyss

CCP Games has been sold back to management by Pearl Abyss in a $120 million deal and rebranded as Fenris Creations.

The studio said it will continue operating globally without layoffs or restructuring, preserving teams in Reykjavík, London, and Shanghai.

Fenris Creations also announced a partnership with Google DeepMind, including a minority investment and access to an offline EVE Online environment for model testing.

The agreement restores the EVE Online studio’s independence while linking a major live game to AI research that could influence future development.
