Apple hits milestone in development of AirPods with cameras: report

Bloomberg says Apple’s camera-equipped AirPods have reached an advanced testing stage with near-final prototypes.

The earbuds are said to include cameras in both sides, but the goal is AI-powered visual awareness rather than taking photos.

The product is in design validation testing, while launch timing has slipped because of delays in Apple’s next-generation Siri.

The effort highlights Apple’s push to bring more AI features to earbuds, including context, reminders, and navigation.
