Yadea, the world’s largest electric scooter maker, is accelerating its push into Europe with a factory in Hungary and a low-price strategy.

The Chinese two-wheeler leader has been in Spain since 2022 and is building local partnerships to help navigate tariffs and tailor its lineup.

Its expansion could sharpen competition in Europe’s electric scooter and motorcycle market, putting pressure on prices and local manufacturers.
