Tama Monorail extension approved for construction work, connecting Kamikitadai, Musashimurayama and Hakonegasaki

Tama Monorail has received approval from the transport minister for the first-phase construction of its extension plan.

The approved segment covers the route from Kamikitadai Station through Musashimurayama to Hakonegasaki Station.

This clears a key legal step and moves the project into the implementation phase toward future opening in the mid-2030s.
