Don’t Miss August 12’s Solar Eclipse And Perseid Peak

On Aug. 12, 2026, parts of North America and Europe will see a partial solar eclipse by day and the Perseid meteor shower peak overnight.

A total solar eclipse will be visible only along a narrow path through eastern Greenland, western Iceland, and northern Spain.

The new moon should make for excellent meteor viewing, with Venus and the Milky Way also visible after dark.
