pmtbox Nabs $15M Seed Round

pmtbox raised $15 million in seed funding led by Tandem Ventures, with participation from Element Ventures, Cynosure Investment Partners, and Aaron Skonnard.

The company will use the capital to expand its unified commerce platform for merchants, which brings together payments, risk, and transaction data.

pmtbox says about 1,300 customers use its platform.

The round is notable as Utah’s largest reported seed financing in roughly a decade.
