Google adds NotebookLM directly into Gemini for paid plans

Google is adding a new Notebooks feature to Gemini that connects Gemini with NotebookLM.

Users can create a notebook from Gemini’s side panel and move existing chats into it.

It supports documents, PDFs, custom instructions, and up to 100 free sources.

After setup, Gemini and NotebookLM share the same sources, and users can use Video Overviews and Infographics without losing context.

The rollout starts on the web for Pro, Plus, and Google AI Ultra subscribers; Europe is planned later, and users under 18 plus Workspace/Education accounts are excluded.
