Marathon Goes Full Survival Horror Mode in New Nightfall Trailer, and I Can't Believe I'm About to Get Sucked In All Over Again

Bungie released a cinematic trailer for Marathon season 2, teasing the Nightfall map update.

Nightfall is a nighttime version of Dire Marsh on Tau Ceti IV, set to arrive on June 2.

The darker setting will push players to use flashlights and sound to navigate and scavenge.

The trailer also suggests a possible new hostile creature or enemy type, adding a horror-style threat.
