Paramount Agrees To Delay Warner Bros. Merger Into 2027

Paramount has agreed to delay integrating Warner Bros. Discovery until June 2027, or shortly after a court rules on the deal.

The pause comes as lawsuits from 12 states and the Writers Guild of America continue to move forward.

A scheduled hearing was canceled, and new trial timelines are due by July 31.

Although the merger cleared federal and EU review, the legal fight now adds more uncertainty and potential cost.
