Union accuses Apple of unlawful discrimination against represented workers

Apple is facing a union complaint over alleged anti-union discrimination tied to store closures.

The IAM says Apple denied unionized Towson workers transfer options that were offered to nonunion employees.

The charge was filed with the NLRB after Apple announced closures of stores in Towson, Maryland; Trumbull, Connecticut; and Escondido, California.

The case could test whether Apple gave represented workers less favorable relocation treatment in violation of federal labor law.
