Intel Cancels Core Ultra 9 290K Plus Launch, Keeps Core Ultra 9 285K as Flagship

Intel Germany cancelled the Ultra 9 290K Plus launch confirmed cancellation of the Core Ultra 9 290K Plus to PCGamesHardware.

Intel kept the Core Ultra 9 285K as the flagship, core Ultra 9 285K remains the flagship Arrow Lake processor.

Intel statement positioned Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus for desktop performance stated those SKUs deliver gaming performance and value for widely available desktop SKUs.

Core Ultra 9 290K Plus did not increase core count on the 290K Plus the 290K Plus would not have higher core count compared to existing SKUs.

Appeared on some retailers but was not in stock retailer listings existed briefly though units were unavailable.
