Shift Up says Stellar Blade 2 will be self-published instead of being published by Sony.

The company says this will let it control marketing and present the IP’s identity more directly.

The first Stellar Blade was a Sony-published PlayStation exclusive before later coming to PC.

The sequel is expected to aim for more platforms, but no release window has been announced.
