Honor Robot Phone Partners With ARRI to Bring Hollywood-Grade Cinematography to Mobile: AI Three-Axis Gimbal, Leica-Level Color Science and End-to-End Cinema Workflow

Honor launched its Robot Phone imaging system on July 28, backed by ARRI and a joint lab for sensor and workflow research.

The platform combines AiMAGE, the Yuguang H1 imaging chip, a color-splitting sensor, cloud RAW reconstruction, and a compact 3-axis gimbal.

It also adds AI-assisted shooting, editing, stabilization, and generative video tools for stronger mobile cinematography.

Honor says the goal is major video differentiation in 2026, with sensor redesigns planned for 2027.
