ChatGPT’s Chrome extension can now read your tabs, YouTube videos, and highlighted text

OpenAI has added new web-context features to ChatGPT’s Chrome extension and desktop app.

ChatGPT can now use open tabs, highlighted text, YouTube videos, and browser history as context.

Users can also access it via right-click on pages and get suggested URLs while browsing.

The update reduces manual context sharing and makes research and web browsing faster and easier.
