Intel announces its first handheld gaming processors, Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme, with Xe3 GPU cores; adoption confirmed in Acer Predator Atlas 8, MSI Claw 8 EX AI+, and OneXPlayer 3

Intel unveiled its Arc G series processors for handheld gaming devices, including Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme.

The chips are slated for OEM shipments starting in June 2026 and feature Xe3 GPU, XeSS 3, ray tracing, Xbox mode, and precompiled shaders.

Connectivity includes Wi‑Fi 7 and Thunderbolt 4, positioning the chips for next-gen handheld gaming PCs.

Acer Predator Atlas 8, MSI Claw 8 EX AI+, and OneXPlayer 3 were announced as adopters.
