The European Commission got hacked again

The European Commission detected a cyber attack on its Europa.eu platform on March 24 and said it contained the incident.

The Commission said its internal systems were not affected but that data was taken from Europa websites.

BleepingComputer reported attackers claimed access to an EC AWS account and about 350GB of data, and said they will leak it later.

This is the second disclosed EC breach this year, following a January incident that exposed staff names and some phone numbers.
