Threads tests a Meta AI integration that works similarly to Grok

Threads is beta testing Meta AI mentions in select countries, letting public-account users tag the chatbot in posts or replies for answers, trend context, and recommendations.

Meta AI replies publicly as @meta.ai and supports the language of the original post, making the experience feel native inside Threads.

The test mirrors Grok on X and could make Threads a one-stop app for context without leaving the feed.

At the same time, it revives questions about AI visibility, moderation, and how much users should rely on chatbot-generated context.
