I’ve Been Running the New Safari on iOS 27, and My Thumbs Are Already Happier

In the iOS 27 public beta, Safari’s Compact toolbar has been improved with the return of the All Tabs icon and a restored Bookmarks icon.

A new tab-grouping view automatically sorts tabs by category, making navigation more intuitive and one-handed use easier on iPhone.

The changes address usability complaints from iOS 26 and help reduce accidental app exits for heavy tab users.
