Monster Hunter Stories 3 is Getting a Big Free Update in Summer 2026

Capcom will release a free update for Monster Hunter Stories 3 in summer 2026 that adds a new Royal Monster tier.

Royal Monsters will only appear in the overworld for Riders who reach Level 90.

Capcom is also developing a paid Additional Side Story: Rudy DLC and may release it earlier than the planned Fall 2026 window.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 launched on March 13, 2026, and the game offers over 40 hours of story content.
