Foxconn, Apple’s assembly partner and one of the world’s largest electronics contract manufacturers, has data stolen in a hacker attack, including 8TB of data and more than 11 million files

Foxconn says ransomware group Nitrogen breached its systems and stole about 8TB of data, including more than 11 million files.

Leaked samples reportedly include project documents from multiple companies and factory-related records, raising supply-chain security concerns.

A network disruption at Foxconn’s Wisconsin Mount Pleasant plant briefly halted production, showing the operational impact of the attack.

The incident is especially sensitive because Foxconn manufactures key products for Apple and other major tech companies.
