X Money is finally here, and it’s much more than a digital wallet

X has started rolling out X Money in the US for Premium and Premium+ subscribers.

The service lets users send and receive money, hold balances, earn interest, set up direct deposit, and spend with a Visa debit card inside the app.

The launch pushes Elon Musk’s vision of X as an all-in-one “everything app” that combines social media and financial services.

If adoption grows, X Money could challenge established payment apps such as PayPal, Venmo, and Cash App.
