Insta360 announced the Snap, a small magnetic accessory that mounts to a phone's back.

It mirrors rear‑camera output to a touchscreen for framing and can control camera apps.

Two versions are offered: standard ($79.99) and an upgrade with an integrated ring light ($89.99).

Connects via an integrated USB‑C cable and has no battery of its own—continuous use may drain ~15–20% of the phone.

iPhone auto‑powers and connects; iOS requires enabling Zoom for touch. Android touch works after mirroring approval. Tested one week on an iPhone 16 Pro.
