Chinese company releases 1-trillion-token AI model "Ring-2.6-1T" as an open model, outperforming GPT-5.4 and Gemini 3.1 Pro on some benchmarks

inclusionAI, under Ant Group, released Ring-2.6-1T, a 1-trillion-parameter reasoning model built for high-load tasks.

The model reportedly outperformed some competitors on benchmarks including AIME 26, ARC-AGI-2, and ClawEval.

Ring-2.6-1T is being distributed on Hugging Face under the MIT License, reinforcing China’s push in open AI models.

The launch suggests Chinese open-model competition is accelerating and can challenge leading U.S. models in reasoning and agent performance.
