Even a company founded 80 years ago apologizes over an inappropriate BeReal post; burdened by a response that dragged in business partners

Mori Yasu apologized after an employee’s BeReal post exposed internal emails, estimates, and a customer name.

The post spread externally on X, causing an information leak and drawing heavy inquiries to partner Kawachi Metal Works.

Kawachi Metal Works said the fallout disrupted operations as it handled a flood of customer and media questions.

Mori Yasu said it is investigating the incident and will strengthen measures to prevent a recurrence.
