Thermacell’s latest smart mosquito system is bigger and more expensive

Thermacell has launched Liv 2.0, an upgraded Wi‑Fi connected mosquito protection system with redesigned hardware and app controls.

The new system expands coverage, adds no-see-um deterrence, and supports flexible placement with branching layout options.

It works with the Liv+ app and smart home platforms like Amazon Alexa and Google Home, using metofluthrin-based repellents.

Pricing starts around $1,746 for a three-repeller setup and rises to about $4,900 for a 10-repeller commercial system, excluding installation.

The higher cost and required professional installation highlight how smart pest control is moving upmarket.
