Alibaba unveils new AI agent model “Qwen3.7-Max,” capable of 35 hours of autonomous work and over 1,000 tool calls

Alibaba’s Qwen team launched Qwen3.7-Max, a foundation model built for AI agents and long autonomous workflows.

The model is designed to handle over 1,000 tool calls and up to 35 hours of continuous task execution.

Alibaba says it scores well on coding, agent execution, instruction following, and long-horizon planning benchmarks.

Qwen3.7-Max will be available through Alibaba Cloud Model Studio with OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible APIs.
