YouTube Tests AI-Powered 'Ask YouTube' Conversational Search Feature

YouTube is testing an opt-in “Ask YouTube” feature in YouTube Labs for eligible Premium users in the U.S.

The AI-powered search lets users ask questions in plain language, get mixed video-and-text results, and continue with follow-up prompts.

The test includes suggested prompts and runs through June 8 alongside other experimental YouTube Labs features.

If successful, it could make YouTube search more conversational and better for complex queries.
