GS E&C wins 5 trillion won in orders despite Q2 operating profit decline, fueling expectations for a rebound in earnings

GS Construction posted Q2 consolidated revenue of 2.7799 trillion won and operating profit of 91.4 billion won, down 13.0% and 43.6% year on year.

Despite the decline, strong profitability in its building and housing unit helped support expectations for a rebound.

The company secured 5.2242 trillion won in new orders, boosting visibility for future revenue and earnings recovery.

Key wins included redevelopment projects and deals across overseas development, modular housing, plants, infrastructure, and GS E&C-owned GS E&Ima.
