How to Turn Off AI Notification Summaries for News Apps on Your iPhone

Apple has reintroduced AI notification summaries for news and entertainment apps in iOS 26.

The feature, part of Apple Intelligence on iPhone, now comes with a warning that summaries may be inaccurate or error-prone.

Apple had previously paused the tool after accuracy concerns, including complaints from BBC and others.

Users can turn the summaries on or off in the iPhone Notifications settings.
