Rivian Is Rolling Out Its AI-Powered Voice Assistant

Rivian is rolling out an AI-powered in-vehicle voice assistant through a software update for Connect+ subscribers and active trial users.

The English-only Rivian Assistant can control vehicle functions, handle messages, share information, and connect with Google Calendar.

The feature is supported on Gen 1 and Gen 2 vehicles and is planned for the upcoming R2 SUV.

The launch underscores Rivian’s push to make AI a central part of its software and driving experience.
