Twitch Creators Will Soon Be Able To Stream In Horizontal And Vertical Formats Simultaneously

Twitch announced Dual Format, letting creators stream in vertical and horizontal layouts at the same time for mobile and desktop viewers.

The company will soon support 2K streaming for partners and affiliates, along with higher bitrate limits and server-side transcoding.

New creator tools are also coming, including mid-stream summaries, GIFs in chat, Auto Clips, and auto-captioning for community clips.

Twitch also plans improved sharing to Twitch Stories as it expands features ahead of TwitchCon Rotterdam 2026.
