iOS 27 gives Apple Photos a very useful feature I’ve wanted for years

iOS 27 will add a Photos option to save the current frame from a video directly as a new photo in the library.

This gives users a better way to capture moments from videos without taking a screenshot.

Unlike screenshots, the saved frame should keep higher quality and avoid awkward cropping.
