YouTube Music Now Playing testing fullscreen cover art [Update: Tweaks]

YouTube Music is testing a fullscreen Now Playing design that expands album art across the display.

An earlier version covered the status and navigation areas, but a later tweak shrank the art so playback controls and the progress bar remain visible.

Users can tap the artwork to switch views, and the feature is still in testing rather than broadly available.

The experiment points to another UI shift for YouTube Music and a more immersive way to present media playback.
