Anker unveils new battery that passes nail penetration tests 100%, with a case that contains flames

Anker Japan unveiled the Neo Lithium-ion Battery, a new cell technology focused on improving safety through impurity reduction, aging mitigation, and tougher testing.

The company says the battery achieved a 100% pass rate in nail penetration tests, highlighting stronger fire-risk reduction efforts.

Anker also announced the Nano Power Bank (MagGo, Plus), a 10,000mAh magnetic wireless charger for Qi2 phones.

The power bank supports up to 15W wireless charging and is available for preorder in Japan at 11,990 yen.
