Gemini task automation expands to 40+ apps, Samsung shows off two more Android XR glasses

Google expanded Gemini task automation to more than 40 apps and added better screen and image understanding.

At Galaxy Unpacked, Gemini features were extended to Samsung’s new foldables, Galaxy Watch 9, and Android XR glasses.

Google also upgraded iPhone-to-Android migration with a stronger wireless transfer flow for moving more data.

The announcements underscore Google’s push to make Gemini more practical across phones, wearables, and XR devices.
