Google invites Reddit back to the AI Overview party

Google is updating AI Overviews to once again use firsthand public discussions, including Reddit and Quora.

The change also adds clearer source details and links in both AI Overviews and AI Mode.

Google says the update should make AI search answers more useful and transparent.

The move follows early criticism over inaccurate or low-quality AI-generated results.
