Anthropic signs a contract with Musk's SpaceX, secures over 220,000 GPUs, and eases usage limits for Claude

Anthropic secured a lease for all computing capacity at SpaceX’s Colossus 1 data center in Memphis.

The deal adds more than 220,000 NVIDIA GPUs and over 300 megawatts of compute within a month.

Anthropic is easing Claude usage caps, including doubling Claude Code limits on several paid plans.

Pro and Max users will no longer face peak-time reductions, and Claude Opus API rate limits are being raised.
