Startup Approved to Let AI System Prescribe Psychiatric Medication

Utah approved Legion Health’s AI app to renew a narrow set of psychiatric prescriptions under strict limits.

Only patients previously prescribed those drugs by a human psychiatrist and meeting stability criteria are eligible.

Legion says it will report to regulators, involve pharmacists, and later seek broader expansion.
