xAI launched standalone Grok Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech APIs for developers, expanding Grok Voice into the enterprise audio market.

The STT API supports 25 languages, batch and streaming transcription, diarization, timestamps, and multiple audio formats.

The TTS API supports 20 languages, five voices, speech-control tags, and delivery via REST or WebSocket.

xAI also shared pricing and benchmark claims as it takes aim at competitors like ElevenLabs, Deepgram, and AssemblyAI.
